Film Festival: Le Giornate del Cinema Muto, Pordenone, Italy, October 3-10, 2026

The schedule for this year’s edition of Le Giornate del Cinema Muto is live! Now in its 45th year, the programming includes films by Mrs. Sidney Drew,  Alice Guy-Blaché, Germaine Dulac, and Pauline Brunius, among other women film pioneers. Sadie Thompson (1928), produced by and starring Gloria Swanson, screens during the prime Friday evening slot (October 9). Swanson’s The Humming Bird (1924) will also screen during the festival.
