Film Festival: The San Francisco Silent Film Festival, May 6-10, 2026

The 29th San Francisco Silent Film Festival will take place on May 6-10, 2026 at the Castro Theatre. SFSFF 2026 will feature silent-era cinema from eight different countries — all with live accompaniment — including three films by women pioneers: Queen Kelly (1929) and The Humming Bird (1924), starring Gloria Swanson, and Miss Lulu Bett (1921), written by Clara Beranger.
